Methodist Youth Fellowship is an active group meeting Sunday evenings at 6:30pm. The group is a mission outreach in the local community and world missions.
Youth Sunday School
High school students meet each week at Steamers in the Ingles shopping center for Sunday School at 10am.
Mission Organizations
United Methodist Men
All men are invited to attend our monthly breakfast meetings on the third Sunday each month at 7:30am in the Fellowship Hall for fellowship, discussion of upcoming activities, and a devotional. The Bumms are active in outreach and missions, and actively participate in the Rock Eagle Men's Retreat each Fall.
United Methodist Women
The UMW group seeks to know God, support each other, and participate in the global ministries of the church. It is involved in raising the standards of living for women and children locally and around the world. Dinner meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Prayer Meetings
Several prayer groups meet Tuesday's at 9:00am and 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
Bethel Outreach Bunch
A group of dedicated people who
assist homebound members with home repairs and yard work.

Music
Adult Choir meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
Children's Choir performs special music, cantatas, and dramas.
Handbell Choir performs special music periodically.
Praise Band performs at the early service each Sunday and at special events.
Sunday School & Bible Studies
Koinonia (Christian Fellowship)
Adults age 40 and over who are diverse in backgrounds and interests and who are unified in their love for Christ.
Women At The Well
Women growing together in their spiritual lives while nurturing each others personal needs.
C.O.M.E.T (count on me every time)
Senior adults focused on outreach to the shut-ins and mission efforts.

College age and young adult
classes are available.

Children
Childcare in the Fellowship Hall is staffed with caring
professionals
on Sunday's from 8:30am until 12:15pm
who teach and
care for infants and toddlers.
For children 3 years old through 6th grade, Children's Worship is offered during the 11:00 service. Stories, music, crafts, and weekly verses teach Bilical principles as well as providing fellowship and fun. Special events held throught the year include an Easter Egg Hunt and summer Vacation Bible School.
Groups & Activities
Weekday Preschool
Bethel UMC Preschool has been in existence for over 10 years. We offer the community an opportunity for Christian teaching 4 days a week for children ages 2-4. School hours are 8:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Call the Preschool office for more information or check the Preschool's portion of the church website.
Young A Heart
Active group of seniors who take frequent
trips for fun and education.
Scouting
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, and
Girl Scouts groups are sponsored.
Softball
The adult softball team is an active community outreach group that competes with other churches on the playing field while in ministry to others in the local Park and Recreation League.
